2016-06-27 Air France A319 and Heli in airprox near Marseille Airport
On approach a helicopter strayed into the flight path of the A319. Both aircraft landed safely at Marseille.
The A319 was on a visual approach to runway 31R(ight) at Marseille Provence Airport, when a AS532 „Cougar“ was also approaching Marseille, but it was cleared to land on the parallel runway runway 31L(eft).
The two aircraft fell short of the minimum seperation distance and came into very close proximity.
Prior to the incident, the helicopter pilot radioed transponder failure to ATC.

Both aircraft continued their flights and landed safely at Marseille.
