2016-05-07 JetKonnect ATR-72 off runway at Indore
The ATR-72 veered off runway on landing at Indore Airport coming to a stop on soft ground. None of the 70 occupants were hurt.
In rain and thunderstorm activity, the ATR-72 drifted off to the left immediately after landing on runway 25 at Indore Airport.
The aircraft with 70 people on board departed paved surface after about 100 meters down the runway where it crossed a taxiway until it stopped with all gear off pavement about 100 meters further.
All passengers and crewmembers were able to deplane without injury. Damage to the aircraft is believed to be minor.
Indore ’s single runway is measuring 2750 x 45 meters (9022 x 150 ft).
