On landing Dhaka-Shajalal International Airport, the aircraft ran off the side of the runway down an embankment where it came to rest against a brick wall. Both pilots were hurt when the aircraft nose hit the wall. Although local media reported only minor damage, images showed intense structural damage to the nose and right wing. Also the left foreward side of the fuselage was severed by rotating propeller blades making the aircraft likely to be considered as damaged beyond economical repair. At the time of the accident, the ATR was operating on a military passenger flight carrying pilots other crewmembers for a cross-country exercise.

On landing at Gaalkacyo in favourable weather conditions, the aircraft departed the runway 05L to the right side where its nose undercarriage collapsed until it was steered back to the runway where it came to a stop. Both wings reportedly broke near the wingroot and the aircraft came to rest on its belly. There were no reports about any injuries among passengers or crewmembers. Gaalkacyo Airport is equipped with a single runway, paved but mostly eroded. A parallel dirt strip is also available. The runway lengh is about 3000 meters. According to statements by the pilots, they saw a stray animal (goat or dog) on the runway ahead immediately after touchdown forcing them to initiate avoiding maneuvres. PUntland officials however believe that a double failure of both nosegear tires caused the loss of steering control.

On final approach to runway 21R in fair weather conditions with a visibility of about 5000 meters, the pilots erroneously lined-up on the parallel runway 21L which is dedicated for military use of the neighbour airbase. The 737 landed on the left runway (21L) without coming into conflict with other traffic and proceeded to the civil terminal without further incident. Ibaraki Airport combines operations with the Hyakuri Air Base. Civil operations are restricted to use the western runway 21R/03L while all military movements take place from the parallel runway (21L/03R).

The aircraft was on final approach to runway 30 at Islamabad-B. Bhutto Intl Airport in adverse weather conditions, when it lost height and crashed. The aircraft came down in a residential district hitting dozens of houses before it broke apart and caught fire. The accideent site was about 2,5 kilometers outside the airport boundary and about 500 meters to the south of the approach track. There were no survivors. There were no reports about any casualties on the ground. At the day of the accident, flight 213 carried out the inaugurational flight for the new route of Bhoja Air from Karachi to Islamabad. At the time local weather constisted of intense rain, thunderstorm activity, high wind and limited visibility. Investigation showed the aircraft was following instrument landing system (ILS) guidance to runway 30 but then descended below the approach path and deviated to the left until radar signal was lost. A multinational accident investigation has begun.
NOTE: Bhoja Air recently relaunched its operations in March 2012 after it had to suspend all flights in 2001.

The aircraft returned to land at Gatwick Airport on an emergency landing after the pilots received a fire alert in the cargo hold about 10 minutes after departure. After coming to a standstill on runway 08R, an emergency evacvuation was carried out. A number of passengers sustained minor injuries during evacuation. A number of tires deflated automatically because of intense braking heat. The runway remained blocked for about 2 hours causing lots of delays at the airport before the A330 was removed.

The pilots were forced to transmit a fuel emergency after two aborted approaches at Barcelona-El Prat Airport and were given priority handling by Air Traffic Control (ATC) for an ILS Cat III (low visibility conditions) landing on runway 25L. The pilots landed safely above their minimum fuel limit. Earlier, ATC denied the pilot´s request for landing under CAT III conditions for reasons unknown. Only CAT II landings were allowed at the time. The flight remained in a holding pattern for 30 minutes began to divert to Valencia, then turned back after ATC signalled a slight weather improvement at El Prat. However, conditions had worsened again upon arrival forcing the pilots to fly to Girona, the closest alternate airport. At this time ATC passed hte information that Girona has no further capacity for the flight as they were fully congested by other diversions. then the pilots radioed a fuel "PAN" emergency and - due to circumstances unknown - were given CAT III approach clearance. Due to intense fog, runway visibility at El Prat Airport was limited to around 200 meters. Authorities opened an investigation.

The aircraft was rolling down the runway on landing when a number of gunmen (about five) opened fire killing one passengers and injuried four others among them a small child and both pilots. As a result, hydraulic lines were severed causing a loss of steering control. Subsequently, the aircraft ran off the side of the runway, across the small apron until it hit a terminal building resulting in unknown damage.
