2017-05-20 Aeromexico Boeing 737-800 hit vehicle while taxiing at LAX

Narrative

After landing the Boeing 737 collided with a utility truck causing injuries to all eight people on board the vehicle.

UPDATE

The aircraft landed normally on the southern runway 25(L) and proceeded to its assigned gate allegedly via taxiway „Papa“ when its right wing collided with a utility truck (supposedly a cleaning truck) that apparently drove past the „stop“ sign into the way of the airliner.

The impact force caused the van to topple over and to fell on its side. All occupants suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The 737 sustained damage to its right outer wing but was able to proceed to its gate (under tow) on the northern airport side without further incident.
