2016-09-24 Yeti Airlines Jetstream overrun accident at Bhairahawa
On landing the aircraft overran the end of the runway at Bhairahawa Airport, Nepal.
On landing runway 28 the Jetstream 41 failed to stop within the lengh of the runway (1510 meters) and overran. The aircraft ran through uneven terrain and came to rest about 150 meters further amidst farm vegetation.
None of the 32 passengers and crew was injured.
The entire undercarriage collapsed, the nose itself was badly damaged when it hit an obstacle, both props were bent. A hull loss has to be taken into consideration.
NOTE: In August 2015 another Yeti Airlines J-41 overshot the runway at Bhairahawa [Jacdec-Report]
