Narrative

The aircraft overran the end of the runway coming to rest on the grass.

On landing runway 32 in darkness and windy weather, the aircraft overran the end of the runway where it came to rest approximately 50 meters further on the grass.

All on board remained unhurt and the aircraft apparently, was not damaged.

The Canadair twinjet nose came to a stop only about 100 meters before the airport fence and a busy road.

Earler the pilots had to abandon the approach to runway 23 twice because of turbulence and intense rainfall.
