2014-07-06 ITAB BN-2A Islander crashed near Chirundu on ferry flight
The aircraft was destroyed in an emergency landing next to the Lusaka-Chirundu road near Chirundu, Zambia.
According to unconfirmed reports the pilot expereinced engine troubles during cruiseflight and attemtped a landing on the road but failed to reach it. the Islander then hit a cliff where it was totally destroyed.
The two occupants survived with injuries.
It is belived the aircraft was on a ferry flight from Lanseria (RSA) to the Dem.Rep. of Congo
